Christmas with Aunt Linda and Uncle Michael: Dec. 23

After we had Christmas with Gary's parents and sister we napped and got ready to go to his Uncle Michael and Aunt Linda's house for round two!

First on the agenda was Jesus Birthday party which started with the Christmas Story.

Then we blew out the candles. (BTW I think we did each supper before we did this - our annual pizza and greek salad dinner!)

The boys: Eli, Mark, and Cassidy

The girls: Caedyn and Madison (You wouldn't guess that these girls are 3.5 years apart. Caedyn had just turned 4 and Madison was 7.5 ! They get along so well!)

Eli was mesmorized by their train. He had asked Santa for a train and didn't know yet what he would get!
This is not a great pic of Caedyn, but this was a fantastic gift. It is the Crayola Dry-Erase Activity Center. Both my kids love this. It has a clear view window and different white templates to put under the window (tic-tac-toe grids, ABC's, handwriting lines, blank white, etc.) Great concept!
Eli has an infatuation with garbage trucks, so he was thrilled to get his very own garbage truck! Cassidy got Toy Story figures.

Mark and Madison got plenty of loot too! Lots of presents = Big Mess

Caedyn showing off her earrings. She doesn't have her ears pierced, so she was so excited to get these adorable clip-on earrings from Madison. She got several pair! One of the big gifts of Christmas was Caedyn's pillow pet. She had been begging for weeks for a unicorn pillow pet and had had a meltdown in Walgreens when she was sick because she wanted one right then and there. Well, I didn't get a good pic, but Aunt Linda gave all the kids Pillow Pets and Caedyn was over the moon! The kids loved all of their gifts, and Christmas wasn't even here yet!
