Christmas Eve 2010

Our restful Christmas Eve day ended up with the kids napping pretty late, so we didn't get to go to the 4:00 service like we had hoped to. But we went to the traditional candlelight service at 7:00 (I think) and I got these shots of my children looking like little cherubs!

After church we went to my mom and dad's for their annual Pancake Drop-In. It was mucho yummy! Caedyn and I LOVE chocolate chip pancakes!

Then we had to go home and get ready for Santa. First we had to put out the reindeer dust so that Santa could find us. (I think that is what is was called - never done that before.) Then we had to go in and pick out the best cookies for Santa and set them out for him near the fireplace. The kids took extra interest in all of this this year. It was fun! Then it was off to bed for the kiddies!

Mommy and Daddy had some Santa preperations to make too and we have no idea how we will continue doing it with the kids' bedrooms so near the den!
If you noticed my children's wardrobe, just laugh. Caedyn likes to take her clothes off right when she gets home and Eli doesn't want to take anything off - coat, shoes, nothing!
