Sunday, December 4: Go to a Christmas Parade!
(Yes, Caedyn is in pj's again! We had just finished lunch after church, and she likes to nap in pj's!)
We went to the Parade of Lights with our Adoptive Families Group (AFG). It was great! There were bleachers to sit on, hot chocolate, and plenty of kids to share in the holiday fun! And of course we got to see Santa at the end of the parade!
Monday, December 5th: Put up our Nativity Scene!
Eli got to open the door today, and he was so cute "reading" the paper. Gary put clip art of a baby Jesus in a manger, and one of a Nativity. So, Eli told us, "Make a baby Jesus in his bed and in his house!" I would say he got that right on the money!
Of course this week we are lighting and outing two candles each night for the 2nd week in Advent. This one was too sweet not to post.
And we are off to set up our Nativity scene. My parents bought us this several years ago, and it is one of our FAVORITE decorations!
(That white cloth thing is going in the washing machine tonight! I had no idea it looked so bad!)
