ADVENTure #10

Saturday, December 10th's ADVENTure was to Make Cookies at Aunt Brenda's House!  We opened our Calendar door that morning before we went to the daycare Christmas Festival.  Then headed to Aunt Brenda's to make cookies!  We had a blast!  This was the first year that all the kids were self-sufficient.  All the adults had to do was dole out cookies, icing, and sprinkles.  The kids did the rest themselves.  They did such a great job sharing and being patient!  It was great fun had by all!

Sabrina and Caedyn rolling out the dough.  Did you know that you have to stick that bootie out when you roll out dough?

Garrett's turn to cut out cookies!

Eli chose this pink apron from Grandma's selection.  He is too funny!

Garrett was the first to lick his fingers; it didn't take long.

Ashley, the oldest of the crew!

Chloe!

Kamron

Eli baking another batch; we did 3 recipes!

Caedyn helped roll out some dough after she got done decorating her cookies.  There was some scrap dough leftover that she played with for an hour or more.  She was so cute rolling it out, cutting it with small cookies cutters, and putting it into these little play muffin tins to bake.  It was just adorable!

That Aunt Brenda has the coolest toys at her house.  The kids love to paint on her easel.

This tire swing was quite a hit too!

Eli is ready for a big boy bike!  Gotta wait till that 4th birthday in March buddy!  He would only let Aunt Brenda help him get to the top of the hill.

After such a busy day, the kids got to eat in the den while watching Polar Express, one of our favorites!
