First both kids rode Domino, Dommy, the pony. Caedyn was so excited and she cried when she had to get off. Then Eli got on and held onto the saddle real tight. Caedyn and I walked beside him.
Next we walked down to see the barnyard animals. A miniature horse, sheep, bunnies, turkeys, chickens, a goat perched on top of a shed, and a donkey.
The hayride took us all around the farm. Eli loved the "tractors" and Caedyn made friends with Mr. Steve and his daughter Summer. Steve and Sunny are the founders of AFG back when Summer was a tiny tot. The pic below is what I call a Summer Sandwich.
The hayride made a stop at a real pumpkin patch where there were pumpkins growing on the vine, but the pumpkins for the kids were already picked and in barrels. Eli thought he had some kind of treasure!
After the hayride we got the kids pics taken by a professional photographer who was on site for the event this year. She did a quick session and then we went to the pond for the hot dog and marshmallow roast.

Finally it was time to go. We posed with the tractor, took a last peek at the goats, and then Caedyn hit the outhouse. They had a cute little outhouse for the ladies outfitted with a pedastal sink, toilet, and running water. The guys had to use porta-johns.
